i'm pretty happy with my new job. i get to wear nice clothes to office (à la gossip girl) because it's a firm on the creative side anyways, and there are cartoon characters all over the office so the whole place looks very happy. the best part- we are dealing with comic book, movie and cartoon characters whom i grew up with! i can openly watch movie trailers on the job because i mean, i need to keep up right? jackpot. not that i'll have much time to do so anymore though, things will get crazily intensive come monday because of the tight event deadlines. the only shortcoming of the job is that i don't get my own desk and the pantry is pathetic (okay at least there's one) - i was really looking forward to having my own space where i can bring my nice mug and stick up pictures and have the nicest desk in the whole office. rah. there are not enough desks to go around now but HR says i'll probably get one at the end of the month. so now, i'm sharing a table with the senior sales manager. hur hur.
