Lifestyles of the rich and famous.
The famous South Beach is really beautiful, with powder-fine white sand and blue waters. We spent half a day there yesterday and it was way too short. It was so fun playing in the water! The waves in the ocean were so huge, the force would actually push you backwards and down onto the floor. Danny lost his tee and Jason his shades, because they were washed away.
Thereafter, we rushed back to shower in a record time of 1 hour (considering we had 5 people to a bathroom) and headed to downtown Miami for the Island Queen Cruise.
It took us around the different exclusive islands in Miami, where really really rich people stay. Like they have their own private jets, and their homes are mansions, and cost on average like 50 million USD. Lucky asses. We saw Alicia Key’s house too! Huge.
At night, the guys went to club without us because we were underaged. Dorene was right, it really feels like we’re in J1 all over again, because the legal age for clubbing in Miami is 21. Which is quite dumb because you can have sex and smoke when you’re 16, you can buy porn when you’re 18 but you can only enter clubs when you’re 21. Anyways, our night was nonetheless exciting. We cruised around town which the music thumping in our car, in search of action. And seriously, the action never stops in Miami. There was a crime or something in one of the buildings, and there were so many police cars and ambulances, with all their lights flashing just like you see on television. And then, we decided to follow some random car because we found it suspicious, and true enough, two streets down, the car just suddenly parked itself by the side of the road, and when we zoomed past, we saw a couple making out passionately. Haha! Girls' intuitons are always right.
And this morning we just watched the sunrise from the ocean. Spectacular. I’m really gonna miss this place man. Oh well. Gotta pack up and check out of the hotel now.
Byeee.
