i was happy today. i can finally feel myself settling down, getting a firmer grip on JC life. the jokes, the laughter and little snippets of harmless gossip. friends, pigging out in the cafe, lazing around in the student center...finally i feel the tension easing away.

over the past month, i have known some people better, and some worse. well, not exactly worse...just discovered the ugly side of their characters. it's quite sad, and ironic, in a way, that it has to be an old friend.

on a more positive note, the people in my CG are great and we all are getting along well together.

life is still far from perfect, but i am content. let's hope things pick up from here.
